Privacy notice

How TendeScope collects, uses and protects account, workspace, opportunity and payment information.

01

Who operates the service

The service operator must publish their legal identity before public launch. kiprono.tech@gmail.com is the contact for privacy questions.

02

Information we process

We store account identity and password hashes, workspace memberships and profiles, saved opportunities and decisions, alert preferences, expert profiles and resumes, community submissions, support requests, payment references and transaction status, and security and audit records.

Your M-Pesa PIN stays private

Payment approval is handled by M-Pesa. TendeScope does not ask for or store your M-Pesa PIN.

03

How information is used and shared

We use this information to provide workspace access, opportunity matching, requested notifications, expert connections, subscription accounting and abuse prevention. Public profiles and community posts are visible according to your publication choices.

Professional and Business members can see published expert email addresses. Expert phone numbers remain private. Resumes require the expert’s approval before another member can download them. Workspace information is available to authorized workspace members and administrators.

Service providers

Brevo processes account and notification email delivery. Safaricom Daraja processes M-Pesa transactions. When AI resume parsing is requested, submitted resume content is sent to OpenAI; opportunity extraction also uses OpenAI. The configured hosting and database providers process service data.

Do not upload information you lack permission to share. The operator must document provider locations, transfer safeguards and applicable lawful bases before public launch.

04

Retention and your choices

Keep your expert profile unpublished or remove uploads when you no longer want them available. You can disable opportunity email alerts in Account settings; account security and payment messages remain separate.

The operator must establish and publish retention periods for accounts, uploads, security logs, backups and financial records. An account deletion request does not automatically erase shared workspace records or records that must be retained.

05

Requests and complaints

Use Account & workspaces to download account details or submit and track an export, correction, objection or deletion request. Email the privacy contact if you cannot access your account.

Requests require identity verification. The operator reviews shared records, retention obligations and backup handling, and records a response. You may also contact the relevant data protection authority, including Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner where applicable.

Cookies

The service uses an essential, HTTP-only session cookie for sign-in. Browser storage may hold onboarding progress. We do not use this notice as permission for advertising trackers.
